Seems the allure of a rough-running V8 is just too much for our friend here..

Wait so this guy who ran for office is the same guy featured in the article? Why doesn’t the article even mention this fact? Hey, at least he has a sense of civic duty? /s

I’ll admit, my rough-running Volvo gets my pulse quickening, but that’s because I don’t know how much more it’ll remove from my bank account this time.

Not knowing of this “cranking” thing, I read the article up to:
Haskins is a habitual offender with a criminal history of multiple incidents involving a fetish he refers to as “cranking.” The act entails removing a vehicle’s spark plug wires to make the vehicle run roughly to help reach sexual self-gratification.

I couldn’t believe cranking was a thing so I of course googled it. Nothing came up on urban dictionary, but I did get some weird results that revealed something called “pedal pumping.”
I’ m going to stay off of the internet for a little while to avoid running into anything else that’s strange.

“Why do journalists leave out context?” is a question as old as time

Interesting choice for a banner design . Something something “thou shalt not steal,” something hmm (and also we’re not a theocracy) .
